Software Engineer Senior

 

Key Areas of Responsibility 

• Design, implement, and optimize software algorithms for real-time systems.
• Develop and maintain real-time software applications.
• Write procedural, object-oriented, and scripting code (C, C++, Java, Ada, Python).
• Maintain and refactor existing code to ensure high-quality standards
• Review and debug code to ensure optimal performance and adherence to best practices.
• Utilize compilers effectively to optimize software performance.
• Work within Linux environments (specifically RedHat-like or Rocky).
• Develop tests as part of the "Test driven development" process to ensure code meets specifications and requirements.
• Perform "Test driven specification" by defining requirements and specifications.
• Test software continuously to ensure robustness, error-free functionality, and performance compliance.
• Develop and maintain software specifications and documentation.
• Design software solutions that meet performance, safety, and reliability requirements.
• Ensure requirement traceability throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Participate in code reviews and mentor junior and full software engineers.
• Continuously update your technical knowledge and skills to stay current with industry trends and best practices.

 

 

Minimum Qualifications 

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field; master's degree preferred.
• Proven expertise in software specification, requirement traceability, and software architecture.
• Strong knowledge on procedural languages (such as C).
• Knowledge on object-oriented programming languages (such as C++, Java).
• Knowledge on scripting languages like Python is a plus.
• Extensive experience working in Linux environments (RedHat-like or Rocky).
• In-depth understanding of software algorithms and their applications in real-time systems.
• Experience with compilers and profiling tools.
• Familiarity with ADA and Asterix protocols is a strong plus.
